The Nunavut Library Association is open to anyone who serves residents of Nunavut and is interested in our work with library issues, regardless of geographic location.
Our members can be:
- professional librarians
- library technicians
- library support staff
- literacy workers or archivists who work in or with libraries
- interested members of the public.
We operate in an informal, consensual manner. Members volunteer their time and skills.
Nunavut Library Association is not formally registered as a society. Currently we charge no fees, do not do fundraising directly, and carry no financial obligations.
We are a proud partner in The Partnership and its Education Institute which offers our members access to national seminars and courses by teleconference and the Internet.
